I have adored gowns specially summer gowns watching BBC series such as "Emma (2009)" or "Northanger Abbey (2007)". Though we may not be in that era of fashion, Maxi dress gives us that opportunity to achieve similar femine feel. Maxi dress is summer favorites for casual look. Accessorize with belt to give shape at waist if the dress cut is big on you or to break the monochromatic flow.
P.S: For petite framed woman, remember these pointer while shopping for maxi dress.- Make sure the hemline is just at the toe. Even an inch extra makes the dress overwhelming.
- Prefer solid color or pick verticle print and choose V neckline to enlongate the look.
- Use a belt if the fit of the dress is loose and avoid the tent effect.
- Prefer the dress which fits close to your body and avoid too much fabric.
- Wear comfortable wedge or heels to add some height.

Maxis can be worn in cold weather by adding a jacket, scarf and boots :)
